þ           He will teach you how to put a solid, reliable foundation on your dog.

þ            He will teach you how to handle you dog different ways to achieve the best outcome.

þ            He will define the working stock dog, it’s instincts and abilities.

þ            Goats and cattle will be used.  Ben’s choice.  Remember you are here to learn how to train your dog and /or to work on training problems.

þ            He will show you how to have fun with your dog too.  Remember now, a cowboy’s “fun” is a little friendly competition.

  •  DOGS ON LEASH OR CONFINED EXCEPT WHEN WORKING

DIRECTIONS—The Means Ranch is located approximately 12 miles north on Hwy 2 of Vinita, Oklahoma to 140 Road E.   (Watch for Cornerstone Baptist Mission Church west side of road, 140 Road just at north end.)  Turn east on 140 Road (gravel).  The Means Ranch is 1 1/4 miles east.  You will see a stone house on the north side of the road—turn in J   If you are coming from the north, 140 Road is 14 miles south of the Kansas state line or about 5 miles south of Welch, OK.
