Celebrating Len
Dalton Extraordinaire
November 1, 1930 -
April 17, 2014
Kaye called the evening of April 17th
to let us know that Len passed away around midnight that morning.
She said that Len was very much at peace and passed quietly.
Please keep Kaye and their family in
your prayers. If you call
Kaye, please know she may not be able to answer the call immediately, but
appreciates each and everyone of us.

visitation and mass information. |

Len Dalton
was deeply loved and respected by so many people across North
America and overseas even though most never had the
opportunity to meet him in person. Len will be remembered for
his faith, his ingenuous nature, his sincere interest and
compassion for people and life, his ability to delight young
and old with his storytelling, and his contributions to the
working cow dog. Len developed his own line of cattle dogs,
and a way to train them, and you know what, it worked! Numbers
don't lie. We are forever grateful and our lives enriched that
our paths crossed with this wonderful soul. See you on the
trail, my friend. |

If you are thinking of
something to acknowledge or honor Len In lieu of flowers, here are
some thoughts: Make a dedication or donation that will reflect Len's
life or your relationship with him, a boy's ranch was mentioned,
don't forget Len's church, donation toward dog food or vet bills for
the small number of dogs remaining in Kaye's kennel, donate a roll
of stamps for any mailings the family will have, and the list goes
on. If you think of something elseto add to this list, let us
know. We're all in this together.
